Avian Brands Cares once again demonstrated its commitment to the welfare of coastal communities through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program "Petik Laut Pesta Rakyat Nelayan Kampung Bahari Nusantara Jamarang" in South Makassar. This activity, held from July 18 to 20, 2024, is a form of Avian Brands' support for local traditions as well as an effort to help local fishermen update the appearance of their boats.

In this "Petik Laut" program, 30 fishing boats were painted using Avian Cling Synthetic, one of Avian Brands' flagship products designed to withstand extreme marine conditions. The fishermen enthusiastically worked together to paint their boats, utilizing the durable paint quality that can protect the boats from corrosion caused by seawater.
In addition to painting the boats, Avian Brands also held a painting competition as a form of appreciation for the creativity and hard work of the fishermen. Out of 30 participating boats, ten boats received attractive prizes, and three best boats were selected based on the neatest and most innovative painting results. This competition boosted the morale of the fishermen in beautifying their boats and updating their appearance.
Through this program, Avian Brands hopes to help improve the welfare of local fishermen. Well-maintained boats will make fishermen more confident in sailing and reduce boat maintenance costs in the long run. In addition, this activity also strengthens the bond of camaraderie among fishermen and fosters the spirit of mutual cooperation, which is an important value in the lives of coastal communities.
