September 2018 – Avian Brands Cares, together with Happy Heart Foundation Indonesia, chose SDI Munting Kajang as one of the schools in NTT to be rebuilt.
Using Avitex Wall Paint, this school has been repainted and made new again. Gabriel Laha, S.Pd, as the headmaster of SDI Munting Kajang, said that every small change can bring a big impact. In this case, the school's development is believed to be able to bring positive moral development for the students at this school. Established in 1986, SDI Munting Kajang currently has 193 students with 14 assisting teachers. It takes about a 30-minute journey from Labuan Bajo City. It is very disheartening to see the life around this school, where the students' parents can only provide 15 liters of rice annually as payment for the teachers' salaries.
