July 2018 – Avian Brands Cares tried to provide something different to one of the community centers in the city of Surabaya. With the "Color for the Nation" program, we started by painting at Sanggar Merah Merdeka Surabaya, a place where many literacy activities take place. Their focus is on the mental development of adolescent children. Their daily lives consist of scavenging trash, selling newspapers, and many of them busking on the streets. Their parents seemingly allow their children to do these activities, due to life's demands that force them into such circumstances.
By providing support in the form of Avitex Wall Paint, and with the cooperation of the community around the center in painting, the work was completed within 1 week. Avian Brands Cares is very focused on the world of education and this program exists because we believe that even the smallest positive change always brings a positive impact to the surrounding community.
