December 2018 – Palu, gradually the environmental and social conditions in this city are improving after the earthquake and tsunami hit the area. There are still wounds and trauma affecting some residents, but the struggle for life must continue.
Avian Brands Cares participated in the reconstruction of permanent housing in Bangga village, Hamlet Tiga, Pakuli – Sigi. At this location, approximately 400 residents were displaced in emergency tents because their homes had been razed to the ground by the earthquake. Adrianus, as the head of the hamlet here, stated that almost all residents lost their homes and no longer possessed any belongings. Sadness was still visible on their faces, but they remained grateful for being spared and receiving help from various parties.
