To welcome the 169th anniversary of PI (Gospel Proclamation), Avian Brands Peduli together with Depo Makmur Manokwari participated by holding a painting competition for 50 fishing boats, specifically at Ketapang Port, Manokwari. Not only that, Avian Brands provided support with wood and iron paint that could be used to decorate the boats. This activity was carried out to support the community, especially fishermen and sea taxi service providers on Mansinam Island, Manokwari.
During the 50-boat painting competition held from January 24 to 31, 2024, it is hoped that Avian Wood and Iron Paint from Avian Brands can gain the trust of the community. Mr. Festus, a representative of the Mansinam community, expressed his gratitude to Avian Brands and Depo Makmur Manokwari. He hopes that this event will be able to involve everyone in Manokwari Regency in the future, especially fishermen along the coast, and have a significant impact on the community in the field of tourism.
Not only supporting the fishermen by providing wood and iron paint from Avian Brands, Depo Makmur Manokwari also gave prize appreciation to the winners of the boat decoration competition. The first-place winner will receive cash of Rp 1,500,000,-, the second-place winner will receive a prize of Rp 1,000,000,-, the third-place winner will receive Rp 500,000,-, and the runner up will receive a prize of Rp 200,000,-. This lively event concluded with a boat parade featuring boats decorated by the competition participants.
