Avian Brands, through its distribution center, PT Tirtakencana Tatawarna, distributed aid to earthquake victims in Cianjur on December 1, 2022. Aid was distributed to 1,800 evacuees from 800 families spread across 23 posts in Cugenang District, Cijedil Village, Kp. Gunung Nanjung 2.
The basic necessities and fast-food logistic aid distributed by PT Tirtakencana Tatawarna included 250 sacks of rice, 150 boxes of instant noodles, 30 boxes of cooking oil, 30 boxes of packaged milk, 25 boxes of medicines, and 150 boxes of Cleo mineral water cups.
The earthquake disaster occurred on November 21, 2022, in Cianjur, West Java. As of the writing of this article, the death toll was recorded at 600 people, 7,729 people injured, and 8 people missing.
Disaster Response Action is one of the pillars of Avian Brands Peduli as a form of empathy, humanity, and the Company's presence among the Indonesian people. Previously, Avian Brands Peduli had participated in accelerating the reconstruction of houses in Lembata, East Nusa Tenggara, which were affected by Tropical Cyclone Seroja in 2021. In the same year, Avian Brands Peduli also assisted residents affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru with logistic aid.
