February 2019 – Avian Brands Peduli, together with Happy Heart Foundation Indonesia, once again synergized to bring about change in the world of education in Indonesia by rebuilding schools that were no longer fit for use. The school built was PAUD Melati I, located on Jl. Eltari, Kampung Baru Village, Waikabubak District, West Sumba. PAUD Melati I was severely damaged and no longer suitable for learning and teaching activities. Since the rainy season began in November 2017, they had been temporarily using the official residence of the Kampung Sawah village office. A total of 23 children learn here, accompanied by 2 assistant teachers. The school does not require students here to pay school fees. Parents of students usually give some of their harvest to the teachers there. After the construction was completed, happiness was visible on all the students, teachers, parents, and the surrounding community. The joy sparked enthusiasm and the desire of the students to return to learning and pursue their dreams.
