Eid al-Adha 1439 H, which fell on August 22, 2018, became one of the most anticipated days for Muslims worldwide. A day when Muslims commemorate the event of Prophet Ibrahim with his wife Hagar, where Prophet Ibrahim and his wife longed for a child whose birth they had awaited for a long time. And Prophet Ibrahim unceasingly prayed and surrendered to Allah Shallahu Allahi Wassalam so that his wish would soon be fulfilled, and finally, that wish came true with the birth of Prophet Ishmael. And when Prophet Ibrahim was joyful with the birth of Prophet Ishmael, the Revelation of Allah Shallahu Allahi Wassalam came through a dream where Prophet Ibrahim was commanded to sacrifice his beloved son. So Prophet Ibrahim reluctantly proceeded because he had to sacrifice his beloved son, Prophet Ishmael. But just as the sword was about to be drawn to Prophet Ishmael's neck, Allah Shallahu Allahi Wassalam immediately replaced him with a ram. From that moment, the celebration of Qurban began to be commemorated.
