Corporate social and environmental responsibility programs or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) are a commitment of every company to continuously improve the welfare of the Indonesian people. This has led Avian Brands, as a domestic paint producer, to continuously carry out sustainable CSR programs.
Previously, Avian Brands successfully held CSR programs titled “Colorful Thousand Bay Tourism Village” in Balikpapan, as well as the CSR program “The Charm of the Colorful Domes House Tourism Village, New Nglepen village” in Yogyakarta. This time, Avian Brands is once again holding a CSR program for Pronojiwo Lumajang village, as a form of the company's support for the natural beauty and tourism potential in the area, which is expected to improve the living standards of the surrounding community.
In this CSR activity, Avian Brands provided 200Kg of Avitex Wall Paint, 100Kg of Avitex Roof for roof tiles and zinc, and 100Kg of Avian Wood and Iron Paint, which were directly received by the residents of Pronojiwo village for their painting needs. “The residents here have received paint to beautify our homes and the surroundings of our village. In addition, this activity is very positive for economic growth and, of course, tourism,” said Mrs. Ida Nuraini, Head of Pronojiwo Village.
The tourism sector, which can revitalize the economy of the surrounding community, is also positioned as an important means of introducing the culture and natural beauty of the related area, which is similar to Avian Brands' company value of providing added value for all parties.
Explained by Feonaldi Indrawan, Deputy Marketing Director of Avian Brands, “The presence of a colorful atmosphere in every CSR activity undertaken brings us closer to the Indonesian people to jointly provide added value to the Homeland, through the provision of quality paint to color 23 houses in Pronojiwo village,” he explained.
The uniqueness of Pronojiwo village is indeed different from others, with the village surroundings and residents' houses having a contour shape (multi-tiered), allowing both local and foreign tourists to enjoy the natural beauty and facilities provided by the local residents.
The painting process was carried out by all residents supported by artists so that their creativity could be well channeled. “The houses and the surrounding village here are multi-tiered; now they are more unique and colorful to be enjoyed by our residents and outsiders. We also hope that the natural beauty here can introduce our village to local and foreign tourists,” said Fahrizal Firmansyah, an artist from Pronojiwo village.
This Avian Brands CSR program for Pronojiwo village is a manifestation of Avian Brands' CSR spirit in helping the development of the village's beauty. “We are confident that this CSR program can drive change and bring positive social impact to the community, coupled with a community of artists who have creativity with interesting ideas, which will certainly make Lumajang look more colorful,” concluded Feonaldi.
