In celebration of the launch of Avian Brands Wood Series products in March, Avian Brands has organized a series of various woodworking workshops. The Live Workshop Avian Brands Wood Series was held in collaboration with Brotherwood Bandung and Substitute Surabaya.
The workshop event in Bandung was held for 2 days, on March 12 and 13, 2022, with the themes ‘Making Wooden Wall Storage’ and ‘Making Book Storage’. Before starting the workshop, participants received an explanation delivered by Avian Brands Marketing Manager, Andriana Setyaning Hutami, regarding the latest range of Avian Brands Wood Series products.
“This workshop was held to educate that making wooden furniture can be done at home, as long as the equipment is complete. We intentionally selected several products that are very suitable for beginners because they are practical, ready-to-use, and easy to dilute,” said Andriana.
In the live event broadcast on Avian Brands' official Instagram account, the majority of participants interviewed expressed satisfaction with their work.
“It turns out that making wooden furniture is not easy, especially when it comes to puttying,” said Reinhard, a 24-year-old workshop participant.
“I like the coating color of this Avian Brands paint because it makes the natural wood color more visible,” said Grace, a workshop participant, while showing the results of the wall storage she made.
Significant participant enthusiasm was also seen at the Surabaya workshop with Substitute. For 4 days from March 24-27, 2022, the workshop was held with 4 different themes: “Woodworking Class Book Shelves”, “Woodworking Class Shoes Rack”, ,”Woodworking Class Side Table”, and Woodworking Class Wooden Stool’.
The majority of participants were mostly trying to make wooden furniture for the first time. However, that did not dampen their spirits to complete their work. With such a positive reception, Avian Brands does not rule out the possibility of similar workshops being held again in the future.
