March 11, 2017, Avian Brands, through its flagship product Avitex Wall Paint, enlivened a mural art exhibition organized by Suara Merdeka. The event “Suara Merdeka Community Awards”, held at the Balairung Ballroom UTC Convention Hotel Semarang, was the first awards event for talented individuals from various communities. These communities consisted of several sectors, such as automotive, culinary, lifestyle, social, art, as well as costume and mural art communities. Mural art is the art of drawing or painting on walls or large permanent surfaces.
As one of the largest newspapers in Central Java, with the tagline “Central Java Community Unifier”, Suara Merdeka felt called to give appreciation to active and dynamic community members, as well as to communities that have produced extraordinary and proud works.
With the aim of appreciating young generation art communities, Avitex Wall Paint supported the “Suara Merdeka Community Awards” event by sponsoring the community event with 24 kg of wall paint for the displayed mural works, as well as cash amounting to Rp 17,500,000,- as a form of appreciation for the artists in the community. On this occasion, Avian Brands wanted to provide added value to all parties, especially the mural community, to directly ‘interact’ with its flagship product, Avitex Wall Paint.
“Activities like this are hoped to be held as often as possible, for example, every month,” said Agus, one of the community participants.
It is hoped that through the “Suara Merdeka Community Awards” event, Avian Brands can foster motivation among the communities in Central Java so that they can continue to create and innovate productively and even better.
